Konnichiwa!

Welcome to my travels through Japan - a place with so much culture, architecture, food, and above all surrounded by endless nature. Japan is one of my favourite destinations for so many reasons and I’ve recently discovered Hokkaido and a small little village - Miyagase, in the Aiko district of the Kanagawa Prefecture - both amazing places. We did a 2+months trip across Japan and were lucky enough to experience winter and spring season so that means winter in Hokkaido and sakura as we go closer to Tokyo. We’ve made lovely local friends, tried new skills (fell in love with snowboarding!), succumbed to cheap but good convenient store coffee and onigiri, and immersed ourselves in nature. Oh and food yes! Can never deny a warm bowl of ramen.
